Axomat Series

The Axomat 5a enlargers have been designed to produce black and white or colour photographs from negatives up to 24 x 36 mm or 5 x 5 cm slides . It is possible to use these enlargers with wide variety of accessories. The device is available in the following versions:

 Axomat 5a ( A5BS50 ) for black and white photography featuring adjustable correction for converging verticals and a colour filter holder to correct colour photographs. Condenser system consists of single  asymmetric biconvex  lens and a built in thermal filter. The lamp is opaline 240vac 150w E27 fitting with 70 mm envelope (not included). Diffuser is inserted in filter holder to reduce contrast if required. Negative carrier is metal and with split line focusing system. Enlarger is equipped with micro focusing system. 

Axomat 5a Colour 4-ES ( A5CS50 ) for colour photography featuring the Colour 4-ES special colour head enabling stepless filtration adjustment using the subtractive methods. Negative carrier is metal and with split line focusing system. No external lamp transformer is required.

The Axomat 5a enlarger allows image restitution. Swivelling the head by 90° provides wall projection. Swivelling the enlarger by 180° provides floor projection of high magnification enlargements.

Axomat 5 Student ( A5STUB50 ) enlarger has been designed to produce photographic enlargements of black and white pictures from only 35 mm films. Using special accessories, the device may be used to make photos and copy. Negative carrier is plastic without split line focusing system. Can accept the M4CES colour head as an accessory.
